DR Chaitanya B R., MBBS. FAGE is a medical graduate of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka. He is a pioneer in Occupational Health and safety and Ergonomics since 1997. He is member of Indian Ergonomic Society. He is a practicing doctor with more than 3 decades of experience, and uses his vast medical knowledge in correlating with Musculo-skeletal issues, which will help mitigate these problems at an Early stage and prevent further progression.He founded ErgoWorks Inc. in 2003 with an expert team of doctors, Ergonomics Consultants, design engineers to create a strong base as Consultants and to provide solutions for the working professionals who suffer due to work related injuries and ailments.
Ergoworks pioneered the concept of Height Adjustable workstation as per Individual Human Anthropometric analysis of Indian Population. Concepts of Chair usage was also introduced in the year 2000. Ergo Works also designed many new office space Workstations and Chairs using OSHA Guidelines and Indian Anthropometric analysis.
Earlier, Dr. Chaitanya worked with leading MNC's as a physician and offered unique and customized health care services since 1997. He was featured in leading newspapers for his work. Under his health care expertise and professional support, numerous companies-initiated employee friendly occupational health care programs for the first time in their organizations. He has advised and implemented ergonomic principles in selection and layout of works station and seating solutions for new offices to be set up for leading corporate companies in Bangalore. His ergonomic solutions and corporate health care programs focused on prevention of work place injury and individual care helped to enhance office productivity for the companies.
